Congrats to "Aunt Becky"

Hey all you former V posse folks. I have loved seeing you around the halls. I hope you are having a great year so far in 4th grade. Be sure to say hey when you see me in the halls. I always love to hear how you are doing.

Speaking of how you are doing, Becky is a proud new Aunt. She commented under the last post, so go back to that one and read the comments for more details on that fun news from Becky.

Keep blogging:) I have not started blogging yet with my new students- we are still going over things like jobs chart and writing our own constitution. I will let you all know when I start their blog so maybe you can give them some great examples since you are now "veteran bloggers" :)

1. I am a reality TV addict.

2. I am trained in swift water rescue, and can also splint a broken femur with a tent pole and some duct tape.

6. I recently attended a Taylor Hicks concert, and LOVED IT!

This Week at the Movies: Harry Potter!

What's more exciting than a new Harry Potter movie coming out this Wednesday? Well, probably the release later this month of the final book, along with the Harry Potter party at the library with Mrs. Matzat! Who's going to the movie? Who has already pre-ordered the book? Who's planning on going to the library party? I am planning to watch all the old movies tonight so I have all the details and characters in order before I go to the new movie. I am also reading the Half Blood Prince again before I get the new book. I ordered my book already, so it should be here on the release date:) I am also planning on going to the library party. So lets just say I have a lot of Harry Potter on the brain right now:) I love it!

Who's been sighted around town?

Hey Posse!
Hope your summer is going well! I have seen a few of you around town, and heard some great things about a couple of others, so I thought I would share. I also wanted to let you know about recent comments that are coming in on older posts in case you want to get in on those conversations too!

Tanner has been at RecPlex Day camp this week, and loving it! I get to see Karlye's smiling face every morning when I drop him off! I also got to see Josh play a little baseball, and got a hug from Lacie on her way to the ball game! Too bad the game was cut short due to rain.... I heard that Waylon is impressing everyone at summer school with his great character and attitude...I am sure he keeps them laughing too! Have you shown them your dance moves Waylon? Still waiting to hear when the next horse show is Madison!

Becky has been posting all over the blog, so let me get you caught up...if you go to the snicket snippets, she has some questions for you about the end of "the end". Help her out Konick! She also posted on american idol with some summer fun activities. She is reading Anne of Green Gables right now, so if you have read that book, comment here and maybe you can get a conversation going about it!

I am glad to hear that Konick, Nathan, and others have had a great time at camp! Look for those posts scattered around the blog as well.

OK, I am going to be in Nebraska for a week, with not much time to check the blog....so if you comment, be patient and I will update as often as I can. When I get back, we can talk about some dates to meet. I am thinking maybe a couple days to see if we can catch more people. Perhaps one day we can all try to go to the pool, and another day we can try meeting at McD's. Hows that sound? I think mid-July will be good, so stay tuned for dates and details!
